Thermal and solar performance calculation of glazing systems
ISO 15099 defines calculation methods for the thermal performance of windows, doors and shading devices. It covers heat transfer through frame, glazing and edge regions and forms the basis for detailed thermal analysis of fenestration systems.
Calculation workflows for North American fenestration performance
NFRC 100 specifies procedures for determining the U-factor of windows, doors and other fenestration products for the North American market. WINSLT® supports calculation workflows based on the thermal methods required for these evaluations.
Support for relevant North American boundary conditions
NFRC 100 defines standardized indoor and outdoor boundary conditions for evaluating the thermal performance of fenestration systems. WINSLT® 15099 uses these conditions to support consistent calculation of glazing performance values for North American applications.

Glazing solar performance calculation software for professional use
Glazing solar performance calculation software for professional use
WINSLT® 15099 calculates optical, solar and thermal performance characteristics of glazing systems according to ISO 15099 / NFRC 100. Users can create individual glazing configurations, define boundary conditions and evaluate relevant performance values such as U-factor, SHGC, transmission, reflection and absorption.
WINSLT® calculates key glazing performance values including Ug, SHGC, transmission, reflection and absorption. The software also displays the temperature profile across the glazing configuration.
WINSLT® 15099 features an interface to the IG(S)DB database from with an extensive range of product spectral datasets. Datasets from IG(S)DB can be readily imported into a WINSLT® calculation with one click. IG(S)DB is continuously kept up to date by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories and product manufacturers.
WINSLT® includes an extensive database of glass and shading products and also allows users to import their own spectral data for glass products, coatings and solar shading materials.
A free trial version of WINSLT® is available. Register for free to try out the demoversion. No credit card needed.
